Mommy's Handsome Boy
Please excuse the 10 thousand cords in the background! Go figure he actually will stay still and smile for the camera when the background is horrible! LOL
Christmas Time Growth Chart
Last year I took a picture of the kids in their Christmas attire on the chair in our sitting room. I used that picture for our Christmas Cards. This year I didn't get my act together in time so our Christmas cards were a bit different but I still took the same picture of the kids this year. I think I'll do this every year just to see how they've grown and changed over the years.

Parker and the Tree
I am a little behind on my blogging but I really wanted to post these pictures. They were taken a couple of weeks ago, before we decorated our Christmas tree.

Parker has a fasination with trees. Needless to say when we put our Christmas tree up in the house he was excited to say the least! He likes to talk to the tree and here he is wanting to comb the tree ....
And here is his mini tree that he had to have the second he saw it at the Hallmark store. I couldn't resist not to buy it for him. I think you would have felt the same if you heard him calling out to it ... it was love at first sight. I can still hear his little voice now begging for it from his stroller "k-tree, k-tree, k-tree" LOL ....
It's going to be a sad, sad day when the Christmas decorations have to come down. Parker will probebly feel like we took his best friend away :(

Santa
Ahhhh Santa! One of our Christmas traditions is to take the kids to see Santa and of course Mommy just has to have a picture to scrapbook! Laughing or crying the picture must be taken! LOL This year I was convinced that Parker would throw a fit, he doesn't like "strangers" and usually clings tight to me if someone comes near him that he is unsure of. I warned Santa but to my surprise, Parker let me put him on Santa's lap! Now he didn't look happy, but he didn't look upset either. He just sat there and stared off into space and was deep in thought. It was so funny and too cute! I really wonder what Parker was thinking about?

Christmas came early ...
for Parker ... or should I say Sean! We got Parker a train table for Christmas and we had intended to assemble it and give it to him on Christmas Eve, but Sean just couldn't wait! Last weekend after Parker went to bed Sean spent hours assembling the train table and setting it up. When Parker woke up the next morning he was totally surprised to walk into the Bonus Room to see his new Train Table! Now as you can see this isn't your ordinary train table, it's an entire community! Check it out ...

His reaction to seeing the train table for the first time .... Pure Joy!

Parker totally loves Fire Trucks! When he saw one on his new table, he picked it up and hugged it ...
Attack of the Sissy!
How funny are these pictures?!?! You might look at them and think to yourself poor Jazmyne, Parker is hurting her ... but let me tell you, she encourages this kind of play between them! She loves to get down on the floor and wrestle with him. She is such a good sport, she almost always lets him win. It looks a little something like this ...

Parker's 1st Drawing
I hate to admit, but I haven't been the best at encouraging Parker to explore his "artsy" side. The few times I have sat him down and given him crayons he really shows no interest in them what-so-ever. I have tried to lead by example and show him how to color and draw, but he much rather be doing other stuff like playing with his cars, blocks, puzzles, or learning his letters and numbers. (Yes, he knows ALL his letters and the numbers 1-10!!!!) He is a very intelligent little boy :) Yesterday, Jaz and I once again sat him down and gave him some crayons ... this time he actually took interest and colored us a picture! We were so excited!!!

That's my girl!
I am so blessed. I have a wonderful husband and 2 amazing children! This post is dedicated to Jazmyne. She is doing really well these days. She is growing like a weed ... she now wears size 7 shoes in womens, is just shy of 90 lbs, and I'm not sure exactly how tall but she comes up to my chin! She is an amazing big sister and is so good with Parker. He just loves his "sissy". She is also doing really great in school, as always. We just got her 2nd quarter report card back and ALL A's! (First quarter was all A's also) I don't know how she does it but she does! I'm so proud of my baby girl and I love her with all my heart. (Or as we always say "I love you all the way to the moon ... and back") I just know she is going to do amazingly good things with her life ... the sky is her limit :)

Since this post is dedicated to Jazmyne ....
I received the sweetest e-mail from her teacher yesterday. Jazmyne is Star of the Week and brought in pictures for the board. Here is the e-mail I received:
This is a completely random email. I just put Jazmyne's pictures on the board and I wanted to share something with you that I'm sure you already know. She is a VERY photogenic little girl. There is not one bad shot of her. She is adorable in everyone of them. Seeing as how you are a photographer, I'm sure you already knew this!! I am soooo very jealous!!!Have a good day!!Renae

Peek-A-Boo!
Parker likes to hide behind the chair in the sitting room. He'll hide for a while and then peek out of the side and yell "boo". It makes him chuckle every time :)

Shout out!
Here's a shout out to my loyal friend and blog reader McAngie! She has informed me I'm slacking on my blog so here is a post dedicated just to her! Here's sending McAngie some blog love :) The Foley Family blog will be returning from hiatus shortly. It took a short break due to both of the kids being really sick. They are on the mend now so stay tuned for some recent pictures!

Behind The Scenes ...
Here is what happens when your ask your goof-ball husband to help out with a picture ....
Let me explain! We spent the day with our dear friends Susan and Jamie and their newest addition, baby Mayla. We were trying to simulate a picture Susan had seen and to do that I needed a black backdrop. I don't have a backdrop stand yet, so Sean offered to stand on the sofa and hold the backdrop. Well of course Sean decided to give us all a good laugh ... as we were preparing for the picture he decided to do his version of peek-a-boo and caused us all to nearly wet our pants from laughing so hard! He looks like the boogy man who is about to eat the poor baby! We can always count on Sean for good times!
