1st Dance

It's Friday night.

Do you know where your 10 year old is?

Mine is at her first school dance ... yes you heard that correctly, 10 years old/5th grade and at a dance! I really thought I had a few more years before I had to start "worrying" about these things! Bless her heart she was so excited and has been looking forward to this dance for quite a while now! I hope she has a wonderful time! And it's a good thing the dance is over @ 9 ... cause I'm not sure I could bare to be in suspense any longer than that! LOL

A Transformation

Parker is growing up. His new "big boy" bedroom is yet another reminder of this. Last month we retired his crib and the time came to say good-bye to the baby room and hello to a more grown up room for little man. It was bittersweet taking down, packing up, and saying good-bye to his "baby room".

Parker got a robot/rocket/star theme room makeover!

Ferty-Pounders

Parker stepped on the scale this morning and said: "Mommy, I weigh Ferty-Pounders"

Translation: 30 pounds. (33 lbs to be exact)
