Easton found Daddy's hat and put it on all by himself.

Making his own bed {a first}!

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Parker's room this afternoon while he was at school. He had made his own bed without me asking him to, or without even telling me! He did a really great job, considering it was his 1st time and he did it with no help!

Seeing this made me smile today!

My little boy is growing up!!

Smoothies + Easton = Happy Boy!

As I've mentioned before, Easton is CRAZY about fresh fruit smoothies. The second he hears me start the blender he gets so excited, claps his hands, laughs, and runs over to me. He waits by my side until I pour him his very own cup of smoothie. I LOVE smoothies myself, and I LOVE that he loves them just as much!

Parker's 5th Birthday-Day

Parker woke up to a Birthday morning celebration of presents and a cake! (Hence the bed head)"I'm 5 !!"

Later this afternoon, he got dressed up and we headed over for Kindergarten testing for a magnet school that is enriched by the arts. I had to take a few quick pictures before we headed over because he looked so handsome and so very grown up!

Parker did great during his testing!

When we got back home, he vegged on the sofa for a bit and played with his new Leapster Explorer that he got as a gift...
and watched a little TV with Easton ...

Once Sissy got home from school and Daddy from work, we headed over to Red Robin for dinner and a little celebration.

He was very surprised (and a little shy) when the waitresses brought him out his dessert and sang Happy Birthday to him!

He enjoyed an entire ice cream sundae!
He was worried that sissy might try to steal a bite in this picture ...

Even Easton cheered for his big brother turning 5!

What a great day it was! I swear, Parker woke up and seemed an entire year older today! He has been so good and has acted so mature! This turning 5 business is no joke!

Cars, cars, and more cars!

Easton has an obsession for Cars. 95% of the time, he can be found playing with cars. If you sit and roll cars back and forth with him, you are his new Best Friend :) He got some new wooden cars and played with them all night ...I was able to distract him by turning on his favorite TV show, Team Umi Zoomi! That show is another one of his obsessions. He will sit and watch the entire show from beginning to end, no problem!
