Trick-Or-Treating 2010

Our dear friends, The Mangold's, joined us for Trick-Or-Treating this year. The weather was perfect and we had so much fun. Although this wasn't Easton's 1st Halloween, it was his 1st time Trick-Or-Treating. Last year he and I made it home from the hospital just in time for Halloween. He was only 4 days old so we stayed home and snuggled while the rest of the family went out. Here are some pictures of our fun night tonight ...

Halloween Day

Yay for Halloween being on the weekend this year! The kids made Halloween cupcakes in their PJ's this morning, we carved our pumpkin and ate Pumpkin shaped pizza for dinner. Trick or Treating followed. What a fun day at home!

Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Little E!

1 year ago today, at 10:27 am (on 10/27 ... how special is that?!?!) we welcomed our sweet little E into the world. He was 8 lbs 12 oz and had a head full of dark brown hair and the sweetest, chubbiest little cheeks I have ever seen! When I very first saw him the first thing I thought was how much he looked like Jazmyne when she was born! This past year has been filled with so much joy! The 1st 10 weeks of Easton's life were consumed with colic, but even then our hearts were bursting with so much love for our sweet baby boy. I remember being so worried that the crying would never stop and that he wouldn't be a happy baby ... but boy, once his colic passed, the smiles took over! He is such a joyful baby and is always full of sweet smiles. I can't believe how quickly this year has passed. I have cherished each and every day with this sweet baby boy and am so blessed to be his mother!

Vroom Vroom

Easton is ALLLL BOY! For a while now he has been picking up toy cars and making the cutest little "vroom vroom" sound as he pushes the car along. No one taught him this, he totally started doing it all on his own and it's one of the cutest things ever to watch! It's so amazing to me how babies just pick up on these things and how he as a boy is automatically drawn to cars. He has always had a fascination with wheels and for as long as he has played with toys he has always found and spun the wheels. Here he is playing with a car ... I really should have gotten this on video for the sound effects!

Curly Squirly

Easton has such sweet curls in the back of his hair. The humidity REALLY brings out those curls! One of my many nicknames for E is "Curly Squirly" Can you see why?!?!
