Easton turned 4 months old today!

When I went into Easton's room after he

woke up from his nap today this is what I saw .... Keep in mind he is a tummy sleeper.

So seeing him laying there on his back like this meant that

he rolled over for the first time!!

... and he sure did look proud of himself! I really wish I had seen it happen!

Another lazy snow day ...

Another day of school was called off due to the snow. The kids made the best of it and pulled out the playdough. They were having so much fun and it held their interest for quite some time! Even Easton loved just hanging out while the older 2 played! I just love Easton's little face in this one! He was so excited as he watched Jaz and Parker play! ....

Valentine's Day Recap

We celebrated a low key Valentine's Day at home this year all together as a family. The hi lite of the day was baking a (large cupcake) cake. I wish I could say that the cake turned out perfect just like the very deceiving picture on the box or that the kids did not argue one bit (sharing and taking turns ... What's that?) ... but we're going to focus on the positive and that is we got to spend the day all together as a family making memories :)LOVE is ....

it's the age ...

I am well aware that Jazmyne has been making less appearances on this blog than the boys lately. This makes me really sad, however the fact is that she is either not at home (because you know 6th graders have a huge social life these days hehehe) or just doesn't want her picture taken (which only results in lots of eye rolling). Last week we had a few snow days where school was called off and we hung out at home while it snowed. One of the days when both of the boys were down for a nap I thought to myself "now would be the perfect time to go out into the snow for a bit and take some pics of Jaz". So I headed up to her room to suggest the idea and this is what I saw ....

This from the girl who NEVER takes naps (anymore)! I guess the combination of being cold and bored made her sleepy. I didn't have the heart to wake her up ... but hey, I still got a picture!

Snowman

Parker's 1st snowman! It started snowing tonight. The snowflakes were the big fat ones that are perfect for making a snowman so Sean took Parker outside to play!
