Priceless!

I drive by the neatest green barn all the time. Every time I see it I think to myself, "I need to stop and check it out". It definitely makes for a fun location for portraits. The weather was nice today so I packed the kids up in the car and ventured out there. Jaz was all about having her picture taken but Parker wasn't having it at all (go figure). The purpose of my trip out there was really just to check it out for a potential photo shoot location so I didn't feel like bothering the kids for formal pictures (even though I tired!). As you can see, Parker was being a little turkey. These are not the greatest pictures but they sure are priceless none the less!

Silly Dancers

We got a new Flip Video Camcorder and we're having so much fun with it! Here is a short clip of the kids and my little brother on Christmas Eve dancing. I made a video mix out of it and it's hilarious! Make sure to pause the blog music at the bottom of the page and have your volume up to hear the movie clip, it adds to the effect! Doesn't it really look like a clip from an old 8mm movie?

Gingerbread House

The kids dove right into making a gingerbread house this morning. This is the first year I actually stepped back and let them do it ALL by THEMSELVES! Since there are so many, I'll let the pictures tell the story (there are some really funny ones if you watch the kids faces) ....

The Best Gift!

Parker gave me the best gift of all this year ...
He surprised me and actually posed and smiled for a super cute picture :) (without trying to run away!)
Thank you my little man for being so good for me while I took your picture. I know it's not easy to take a few minutes out of your busy life of Trains, Imagination Movers (or any of your shows), snacking on crackers and cheese, constantly asking me for more snacks or sippy cup refills, and playing to let me take a picture of you ... you'll never know how much this means to me, thank you for this special gift.
I promise I'll let you play uninterrupted now .... well at least until it's time for your birthday pictures ;)
